Ronald Clarke was born in Marley Vale, St. Phillip Barbados. He attended the Lodge School from 1968-1976. He was a former Lodge School and Barbados Athlete. While at The Lodge School, he was a sprint champion from 1974-1976. Ronald was also the 100 meters record holder for the Lodge School and the Interschool Sports with a time of 10.4 seconds. Ronald Clarke attended Adelphi University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1980 and his Master of Science in Biology in 1983. Dr. Clarke was a former world class and superstar track athlete. Some of his track and field accomplishments are as follows:
While at Adelphi in NY, he was the Metropolitan and CTC meets 100 and 200 meters, winner. He broke the meet record in a time of 10.2 seconds in 1980. The NCAA 100 meters champion in 1980. Member of the Barbados Olympic Team in 1980. He was undefeated in the 100 meters in 1980 before Barbados boycotted the Moscow Olympics. After completing his Master of science degree in Biology, he attended Meharry Medical College where he obtained his MD degree in 1988. Dr. Clarke currently specializes in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Weight Loss. He performs surgery and delivers babies in Mobile, Alabama.
As an entrepreneur, Ronald Clarke is the owner of Greater Mobile Physicians for Women PC in Mobile, Alabama since 1998. Dr. Tips LLC which manufactures Dr. Tips Secret Solution and
Ovules for Bacterial Vaginosis. Also Dr. Tips Lotion Bar for skin conditions, Dr. Tips Weight Loss Clinic, Dr. Ronald Clarke’s Foundation, Blue Rabbit’s Paradise, Ronald Clarke is also the co-founder of Greater Southeast Transport. As a business owner, some of his accomplishments include:
Dr. Clarke is currently involved with The Lodge School Alumni Association. He is very passionate about making The Lodge School number one again in Barbados, stay tuned. He was voted Clinical Preceptor of the Year 2022, by the students at the University of South Alabama. The International lodge school old Scholars Association (LSOSA) awarded him; Honoree 2022 in Atlanta. Soon, Dr. Clarke is looking forward to investing in the people of Barbados and The Lodge School and teaching surgical skills to young doctors in Barbados. Dr. Clarke enjoys outdoors, sports, jogging, travel, and the arts. He currently resides in Mobile, Alabama and has three children.
